Instead of the Galco holster look at the Advanced Holster Mini Concealment holster for Glock. Can be used for left or right hand, all Glocks except the 42 and 43.
I would really not recommend a model-specific holster for a SHTF handgun. It would be better to find one flexible enough that it will fit a large variety of semi-auto handguns. A Glock holster is great, as long as you have a Glock. What if you lose it? You miraculously find a gun somewhere, but now your holster won’t fit this new gun.
Yes, it is possible to have enough spare parts, supplies, and maintenance tools to ensure your Glock will last you for decades. Still, what if it doesn’t? Better to be flexible and ready for that possibility.
Chris, I don’t think it’s possible to find a “universal” type holster of the design you reference. A holster needs to hold the weapon snugly enough for it not to bounce loose and fall out if you have to run and jump. Any holster that securely holds your Beretta 92 is unlikely to hold a 1911 clone, Glock–any model, Desert Eagle .357 , Aimpoint 9mm or any revolver that I can think of. If you’re hoping to “find ” or capture a handgun that will match the holster you’re carrying, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
Considering I’ve owned more than one, I doubt it.
Both are drop-leg, universal handgun holsters. They include a sleeve designed to hold a large frame semi-automatic in place, and a retention strap. They are also ambidextrous, as the internal sleeve was held in place with velcro. I do believe Condor makes something similar. I’ve owned both Beretta 92s and 1911s, and they absolutely fit. They also tend to have MOLLE/PALS so you can attach whatever pouch(es) outside. Mine came with a double mag pouch, which fit 1911 magazines better than 92 magazines, but they did fit. The advantage of MOLLE/PALS is you can put something else on there. A knife sheath/ammo pouch combo, large FAK pouch of some kind, etc.
I reference Condor because they look pretty much identical to theirs. Both of mine were purchased years ago from US Cavalry catalog, and the holsters don’t really have any manufacturer markings. They will even fit a Para Ordinance P10 subcompact 1911 variant. The bottom line is, if you look hard enough, something is out there. I don’t doubt Condor’s drop-leg holsters would do the same job. They’re certainly cheaper than what I paid for mine.
Thank you very much you recommendations always come in very handy. The small personal alarm that you recommended in one of your videos actually kept a group of three burglers out of my house one night at 3am when they tripped it outside my bedroom window. I highly recommend the CAT tourniquet together with a combat quik clot gauze, they work. For the holster, check out aliengear. The price is good and the OWB is my favorite. Stay safe.

Not sure why you would refer to the Voodoo Tactical Universal Medic Bag as a men’s bag. I’ve had one for a couple of years now. Female, in my 60’s, former medic, former RN, currently certified in TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care). Be nice if with all the other divisions of people out there, the prepper community would stop being about ‘boys with toys” By the way, the bag is great and holds a ton of very important gear.
